Grandfather beaten while napping in a park; officer acquitted
Criminal verdictKevin Hinton, 62, pulled into a Spokane park to nap on the way to meet his new granddaughter. An officer beat him, leaving him with eight broken ribs and a punctured lung. The officer was fired and indicted, then acquitted by a jury. The civil side isn't over.
